Redefining family photography: modernity and tradition
My approach is different from a typical family photoshoot experience. I want to capture families in a way that embraces everyone's individuality while showcasing the connection between generations.
I draw inspiration from traditional, posed studio photography, but give it a modern aesthetic influenced by glamorous fashion photoshoots. Each photo session is individually planned, so you can be sure it will be as unique as your family is.

Have you ever stood for a 5-minute group photo at the wedding or other family gathering? No one likes these - they make us feel uncomfortable, and we almost never like the final result. I've found a solution to these problems!

I then carefully blend the individual shots to create a high-quality, harmonious group portrait that reflects not only the family dynamic but also each individual's personality.

Family portrait photography: An all-day photoshoot experience
There is no set time for the photoshoot: I am there for you all day, along with the stylist, makeup artist, and hairdresser who are present in the studio. We want everyone to look and feel their best for the photograph, so the experience includes the aid of a full team to ensure that every detail is just right. While one family member is preparing for the shoot, another is being photographed and the others can bond, awaiting their turn.
The time at the studio can be a valuable opportunity for families to connect, making it not just a professional photoshoot, but also a unique activity for everyone to enjoy. You can bring family photo books to the session to browse through to find inspiration or recreate special moments captured in the past. I also bring conversation cards for you to help you bond with loved ones while waiting for your turn in front of the camera.

What does the family photoshoot look like?
To better understand everyone's personality, I talk to each family member individually before the shoot to ensure I understand them and capture them in a way that truly reflects who they are. It also breaks the ice and allows me to learn about your expectations.
I respect your preferences and understand not everyone feels comfortable being photographed. That is why there is no set posing time - I’ll spend as long with you in front of the camera as we both think is needed for everyone to be happy with the result. Previous posing experience is not necessary - I will help you find the most flattering angles and poses and give useful suggestions on how to pose for future photos as well - some bonus tips that you can use while posing for holiday photos or when out with friends, no matter who photographs you!

Capturing every individual for a family portrait takes several hours. It is a long day in the studio, so we’ll take a dinner break in-between the shots. When we’ve got everything ready for your legacy portrait, we can also take some individual or small-group photos.
